“El Salto Del Fraile: The Cliff Diver of Chorrillos”

In 2024, while studying abroad in Perú, I pitched, filmed, scripted, and edited a documentary about the thrilling life’s work of Fernando Canchari, a cliff diver who retells a hyperlocal legend for passing tour buses and restaurant goers. The film was nominated for a Student Emmy Award. Produced by myself and Jenica Ashby.
